Bacoor City, February 14, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, through the Office of the Population Development (PopCom), today hosted a pre-marriage orientation and counseling session for 46 couples in celebration of Valentine’s Day. The event, held at the Revilla Hall, aimed to provide couples with valuable insights and guidance as they embark on their journey towards marriage.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla graced the occasion, emphasizing the importance of preparing for marriage through education and counseling. Ms. Emilie De Castro, Head of the Office of Population Development, along with PopCom personnel, facilitated the orientation and counseling sessions.
The event covered a range of topics, including understanding the legal aspects of marriage, communication and conflict resolution skills, financial management and planning, family planning and responsible parenthood, and building a strong and lasting relationship.
The pre-marriage orientation and counseling program is part of the City Government’s commitment to promoting healthy and stable families in Bacoor. By providing couples with the necessary knowledge and skills, the City Government aims to empower them to build strong and fulfilling relationships.
