On July 12, 2025, in relation to the National Disaster Resilience Month, the City Government of Bacoor, through the Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (BDRRMO), spearheaded the “Stride As One” Training and Seminar — a proactive initiative aimed at enhancing the city’s disaster preparedness and community resilience.
Under the leadership of JSUPT CHRISTOPHER R PENILLA and JCINSP ANALIZA G FOSTER, City Jail Wardens, the Bacoor City Jail Male and Female Dormitory personnel actively took part in the event, joining forces with participants from barangay disaster response teams, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP, Philippine Coast Guard, and the Philippine Army Reserve Command.
The participation of the Bacoor City Jail Male and Female personnel highlighted the BJMP’s continuous efforts to align its disaster response framework with that of the local government, ensuring that Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) and detention facilities are also covered by comprehensive risk management strategies.
Through the “Stride As One” initiative, Bacoor continues to set an example in building a culture of preparedness, resilience, and community-driven safety.
