Bacoor City, May 14, 2025 – Mayor Strike B. Revilla today met with a group of Bacoor’s brightest young representatives, all under the guidance of Dr. Babylyn Pambid from the Department of Education (DepEd) Bacoor. The group consisted of two distinct teams preparing for upcoming national competitions: the Palarong Pambansa delegation and the National School Press Conference (NSPC) team.
The Palarong Pambansa athletes, set to compete in Ilocos from May 24 to June 2, include Eunice Cassandra Manara (Swimming), Suuzie Mae Muelan (Billiards), and Sandra Bautista (Tennis), along with their respective coaches, Mr. Ariz Quiambao and Ms. Jenifer A. Torno. Mayor Strike expressed his strong support and wished them success in their upcoming competition.
Also present were the student journalists representing Bacoor at the NSPC in Vigan City: Bien Andy Galang (Elementary – Editorial Writing, English) from Soldiers Hills IV Elementary School and Sabina Mhae Castillo (Secondary – Editorial Writing, Filipino) from Bacoor Senior High School. Their coaches, Ms. Jenalyn Castillo and Mr. Adrian James Olivio, accompanied them. Mayor Strike extended his best wishes to them as well, highlighting the importance of their participation and the city’s pride in their achievements.
