Bacoor City, July 1, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, in partnership with the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) headed by Ms. Liliane DR Ugalde, and the Department of Education (DepEd), held the culminating activity of the “Tara, Basa!” Tutoring Program at the Strike Gymnasium today. The event celebrated the program’s successful implementation through the strong collaboration of the LGU, DepEd, and DSWD.
The activity was attended by School Division Superintendent Dra. Baby Lyn Pambid, 31 DepEd principals, Ms. Leonora Medina – Tara Basa focal of DepEd, Cavite State University personnel led by Ms. Memviluz and Ms. Jay Anne Florites, Ms. Gina Pornelos of CSWD, Mr. Jerry A. Reyes – Tara Basa focal of the LGU, and field office staff headed by Mr. Jeffrey DeVera. Tutors, Youth Development Workers, and non-teaching personnel of DepEd also took part. Mayor Strike B. Revilla was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his unwavering support and leadership in driving the success of the program. The ceremony underscored the dedication and contributions of all partners in advancing literacy and learning among Bacoor’s youth.
