The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in partnership with the City Government of Bacoor, convened the 1st Quarterly City Advisory Council Meeting at the Strike Multi-purpose Hall on February 17, 2025. The meeting, attended by key officials and representatives from various city government offices, focused on strengthening the implementation of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) and ensuring the well-being of its beneficiaries.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla, City Administrator Atty. Aimee T. Neri, and Social Welfare Officer 3-Provincial Office DSWD Ray Anna Bandira led the discussions. Ryan Geronimo, CGLGOO, 4Ps Leaders, and department heads representing different LGU offices also participated in the meeting.
The meeting centered around the DSWD’s sustainability plan for the 4Ps program. Discussions focused on ensuring the program’s efficiency, enhancing the well-being of beneficiaries, and exploring ways to support 4Ps members in overcoming poverty. The DSWD highlighted the success of the program, noting that 841 beneficiaries graduated from the program between 2021 and 2024.
The 1st Quarterly City Advisory Council Meeting served as a crucial platform for stakeholders to align their efforts and ensure the continued success of the 4Ps program in Bacoor City. The meeting emphasized the importance of collaboration between the DSWD and the Bacoor City Government in providing support and assistance to 4Ps members. Mayor Strike B. Revilla underscored the city’s commitment to working closely with the DSWD to empower beneficiaries and uplift their lives.
