Bacoor City, February 18, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, through the Office of the City Health Services (OCHS), held the 1st Quarterly City Health Board Meeting at the Strike Multi-purpose Hall today. The meeting brought together key stakeholders to discuss the OCHS’s accomplishments, review current health initiatives, and plan for future strategies.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla, OCHS Head Dra. Ivy Marie Yrastorza, Konsehala Karen Sarino Evaristo, representatives from the Department of Health (DOH) including Ms. Armida Camposagrado, and representatives from the private sector including Ms. Ann Lilian Pelayo, Ms. Estrellita M. Alo, and Ms. Maricel Alo from private lying-in clinics, were among the key participants. Ms. Rosalie O. Santos, President of the Barangay Health Workers (BHW), Ms. Monaliza Amores from the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD), and Mr. Lodgene Asuncion, Head of E-Gov and MIS, were also present. Other participants included Ms. Lalaine Sanchez and Ms. Mairine Verde.
The meeting focused on reviewing the OCHS’s accomplishments and achievements, particularly highlighting the progress made in implementing the Wireless Access for Health (WAH) update. The board also discussed the current status of private lying-in clinics in Bacoor and explored ways to further strengthen their operations.
The meeting served as a platform for open dialogue and collaboration, allowing the OCHS to receive feedback from stakeholders and align its future plans with the city’s overall health goals.
