Bacoor City, March 4, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), launched the “Para sa Bacooreño” Trade Fair today, a platform designed to empower young entrepreneurs and promote sustainable business practices within the community. The event, organized by the City Government through the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO) and the City Livelihood & Development Department (Livelihood), was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, Pastor Mike Bautista, and DTI representatives Asst. Regional Director Revelyn Cortez, Provincial Director Lilibeth Chavez, and Chief Division Operation Rebecca Tarasona.
The trade fair, held at the Bacoor City Hall Main Lobby, features a diverse range of exhibitors, primarily young merchants, showcasing their innovative products and services. The event aims to provide a platform for these budding entrepreneurs to gain valuable experience, connect with potential customers, and learn about sustainable business practices.
“This trade fair is a testament to our commitment to empowering our young Bacooreños to become successful entrepreneurs,” said Mayor Strike B. Revilla. “We believe that by providing them with the necessary resources and support, we can foster a thriving business environment in Bacoor City.”
The “Para sa Bacooreño” Trade Fair embodies the City Government’s vision of “MSBR” (Making Sustainable Business Reachable) and “Bacoor Means BusinEASE,” emphasizing the importance of creating an environment that is conducive to business growth and innovation. The DTI’s participation in the event further highlights the shared commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and economic development in the region.
The trade fair, which will run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, is open to the public and offers a unique opportunity to discover and support the talents of young Bacooreño entrepreneurs.
