Bacoor City, July 30, 2025 — The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, convened a meeting with representatives from PHI / Megawide to discuss collaborative efforts aimed at mitigating flooding in the city. The meeting was held at the Strike Conference Hall and focused on exploring practical solutions to ease the impact of flooding on residents.
Present during the meeting were key city officials including Mr. Richard Quion, head of the Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (BDRRMO); Ms. Rhowena Alcantara, head of the City Planning and Development Coordinating Office (CPDC); Arch. Maricon De Castro of the City Engineering Office; Arch. Lei Macabudbud of HUDRD; and a representative from the Office of the City Administrator. From PHI / Megawide, Mr. Poy Receno, Mr. Paul Lamagna, Mr. Allen Dimaculangan, and Ms. Gladys Francisco participated in the discussion.
The session highlighted the commitment of both the City Government and Megawide to work together in finding innovative and effective measures to reduce flooding risks in Bacoor. Mayor Strike reiterated the city’s ongoing dedication to seeking solutions that will protect communities and improve the quality of life for all residents.
