Bacoor City, March 3, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, hosted a special flag raising ceremony and birthday celebration for Mayor Revilla at the Strike Gymnasium this morning.
The event was attended by Mayor Strike B. Revilla himself, along with his family members Chaye Cabal Revilla, Baby Chayeli Cabal Revilla, Rob and Justine. Also in attendance included Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, Cong. Lani Mercado Revilla, Cong. Bryan Revilla of Agimat Partylist, BM Ram Revilla, BM Rafael Paterno III, Diane Revilla Paterno, Sangguniang Panglungsod Members, Team Revilla, and other prominent figures.
The ceremony also saw the participation of various city employees, including department heads and unit heads, the DILG family, PNP/BFP/BJMP/BTMD personnel, DepEd Bacoor representatives, OSCA members, PWDs, NGO representatives, and 4P’s members.
The event commenced with a series of patriotic and celebratory performances, including an opening prayer by the City Transportation Office, Bishop Erickson Santos, and Iglesia Filipina Independiente. The entrance of colors was presented by BJML Bacoor Personnel, followed by the performance of the Philippine National Anthem by the DepEd Bacoor Choir.
The ceremony continued with the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas led by Mr. Michael Joseph Torrijos, followed by the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan by Ms. Vilma Tangalin, and the Panata sa Bagong Pilipinas by Mr. Vince Abellon. Ms. John Michael Acosta presented the Quality Policy Statement. The DepEd Bacoor Choir then performed the Bagong Pilipinas, Cavite Hymn, and Bacoor Hymn.
City Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola delivered opening remarks, setting the tone for the celebration.
The ceremony also included the awarding of certificates of recognition to eight centenarians, each receiving a cash assistance of 80,000 pesos. Thirty beneficiaries also received wheelchairs.
The celebration continued with a series of performances and greetings from various individuals and groups, including the Office of the Vice Mayor, the Cavite State University (CvSU) Bacoor Choir, DepEd Bacoor, Department and Unit Heads and Assistant Heads, and a special dance performance by the Office of Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola and Sangguniang Panglungsod Members.
Senator Ramon “BONG” Revilla Jr. sent a special video message, followed by a surprise song performance from Cong. Lani Mercado Revilla and Family, culminating in a cake presentation. The celebration concluded with surprise performances from Mam Chaye, Baby Chayeli, and Rob.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla delivered a special message, expressing his gratitude to all who participated in the celebration.
The flag raising ceremony and birthday celebration served as a testament to the City Government’s dedication to public service and community engagement. The event also highlighted the importance of unity and collaboration in achieving a brighter future for Bacoor City.
