Bacoor City, April 7, 2025 – The Batang Strikers basketball team, representing Bacoor City, paid a courtesy call to Mayor Strike B. Revilla today, expressing their gratitude for the city’s support as they prepare for the upcoming Jr. MPBL Tournament.
The team, comprised of 25 players per division across four age groups (Under 14, Under 16, Under 18, and Under 21), is led by Head Coach Gelo Alolino and Team Manager Dr. John Paul Aclan. The Jr. MPBL Tournament is set to begin on April 26, 2025.
Mayor Strike expressed his pride in the Batang Strikers and wished them the best of luck in the tournament. He emphasized the importance of sports in developing discipline, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle among young people. The City Government of Bacoor remains committed to supporting the development of youth sports and providing opportunities for young athletes to excel.
