Bacoor City – The BCTO Bacoor City Transformation Office, in collaboration with the Cavite for Jesus Movement (CFJM) and the City Government of Bacoor, successfully organized the “Anointed to Build: Discipling the Filipino Nation” event. The event, held at the Strike Gymnasium in the Bacoor Government Center, aimed to foster unity, cooperation, and spiritual growth among the participants.
Led by Rev. Johanne Phil Depatillo of BCTO Bacoor City Transformation Office and Pastor Samuel S. Baldon of the City of Bacoor Ministries Association (CBMA), the event featured a Building Bridges Leadership Training with Rev. Henrieto “Dong” Campoy as the head speaker. Dr. Agustin B. Vencer Jr., the President of Global Transformation Ministries Inc., delivered a keynote address.
The event welcomed esteemed guests, including Ms. Khei Sanchez, the head of LEDIPO (Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office), who represented Mayor Strike B. Revilla and delivered a message to the participants. Congresswoman Lani Mercado – Revilla also shared an inspiring video message, emphasizing the importance of unity and transformation.
The event brought together pastors, churches, and participants from various organizations, including BCTO pastors and churches, BCTO partners, and CBMA pastors and churches such as JIL Molino Bacoor, JIL Aniban, and Fountain of Life Ministries, among others. With a total of 400 participants, the event showcased the dedication and commitment of Bacoor City towards transformation.
One of the highlights of the event was the Building Bridges Leadership Training, which focused on the distinction between subculture and counterculture. Through engaging discussions and sessions, the training shed light on the differences between these two categories.
Worship was led by BCTO Bacoor, creating an atmosphere of spiritual unity and empowerment. The event emphasized the essence of collaboration between the state and the church in working for the common good and fostering communities of compassion.
The “Anointed to Build: Discipling the Filipino Nation” event spanned two days, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on May 17-18, 2024, at the Strike Gymnasium in the Bacoor Government Center.
With a shared vision of unity and transformation, the event aimed to inspire and empower the participants to contribute to the betterment of Bacoor City.
