Bacoor City, November 16, 2024 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), today distributed Emergency Cash Transfers (ECT) to fire victims from Sitio Wawa and Sitio Kaunlaran, Barangay Zapote 3.
The distribution, held at the Strike Gymnasium, provided financial assistance to 1,456 beneficiaries who were displaced by the recent fire. This initiative aims to alleviate the immediate financial burden of the fire victims and provide them with much-needed support during this challenging time.
The program received support from various officials, including Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., Congresswoman Lani Mercado Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, and Congressman Bryan Revilla of the Agimat Partylist. Mayor Strike B. Revilla, alongside Councilor Levy Tela, LNB Vice President Randy Francisco, Pastor Mike Bautista, Kuya Noly Galvez, and representatives from DSWD, were present to oversee the distribution and offer their support to the beneficiaries.
The distribution of ECT is part of the ongoing efforts of the City Government of Bacoor and DSWD, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, to provide assistance and support to fire victims.
