The Bacoor City Government’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO) successfully organized the Independence Day Post Job Fair 2024 at SM City Molino. The event aimed to provide decent and stable employment opportunities for Bacoor residents.
Among the public officials present were Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Congresswoman Lani Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Mendiola, along with Doc Abraham D. De Castro from PESO-OFW, Catherin A. Onarali from Group Public Relations, Leah Bathan from SM Marketing, and Lyd Russel B. Abrazado, Assistant Mall Manager of SM City Molino.
The fair accommodated online applicants, walk-ins, and referrals from Bacoor, with 50 companies offering job opportunities. A total of 290 applicants participated, resulting in an impressive 184 individuals being hired on the spot.
Additionally, agencies such as SSS and PAG-IBIG were present, assisting applicants with necessary documentation. The Philippine Statistics Authority – Cavite office also sought enumerators and supervisors for the proposed Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) in Bacoor.
