In a gesture of compassion and support, Smart & PLDT Foundation generously donated 100 bags of relief packs to the Bacoor City Government.
The donation was organized by the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) Office and facilitated by Mayor Strike B. Revilla. Representatives from SMART and PLDT who participated in the turnover ceremony included Mr. Leonides G. Nivado, Smart Cluster Head; Mr. Ronald Peneyra, SMART Area Head; Mr. Noel Chunsim, Customer Development Manager of Smart South Luzon; Ms. Eya Soniega and Mr. Danilo Canilang from PLDT. From the CSWD, Ms. Gina Pornelos, Mr. Jerry Reyes, and Ms. Liliane Ugalde, the RSW head of CSWD, were present.
The purpose of the event was to hand over personally the 100 bags of relief packs donation to the Bacooreños affected by Typhoon Carina.
The turnover ceremony took place at the Office of The Mayor today July 29, 2024. This act of kindness and generosity from Smart & PLDT Foundation aims to provide assistance and relief to those in need in Bacoor.
