The Forum, Korea, July 14, 2025 – Mayor Strike B. Revilla of Bacoor City met with KIND President and CEO Mr. Kim Bok-Hwan and other key KIND officials, including the Director of Investment Policy Support Department and members of the Urban Consulting Team. The meeting, organized by the City Government of Bacoor and the Korean Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND), focused on advancing Bacoor’s Smart City transformation by integrating Korean expertise and innovative strategies.
Both parties discussed collaborative approaches to develop Bacoor into a model Smart City, emphasizing technology adoption, infrastructure improvement, and enhanced governance. The partnership aims to leverage KIND’s experience to support sustainable and inclusive growth in Bacoor.
A significant part of the discussion involved the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between KIND and the Bacoor Local Government Unit. This MOU, under the K-City Network Global Cooperation Program, formalizes their cooperation and commitment to joint smart city initiatives.
Held at The Forum in Korea, the meeting marks an important milestone in Bacoor’s journey toward becoming a smart, resilient, and forward-looking city through strong international collaboration.
