Every September, several countries, including the Philippines, participate in the largest global volunteer effort on behalf of the ocean. The International Coastal Clean – up (ICC), which is held annually every third Saturday of September, it aims to educate and encourage citizens to take action and help conserve the diversity of marine life.
On September 21, 2024, Bacooreños will gather in Dulong Pulo Mangrove Area, at Brgy Sinabanali Bacoor City. All types of garbage and debris collected during the International Coastal Clean – up are used to educate people and create solutions to the problems of solid waste, inspire recycling efforts, and shape policy decisions.
