Bacoor City, August 9, 2025 — Mayor Strike B. Revilla visited the SK Disaster Resilience Training held at the Strike Fire and Rescue Village in Barangay Molino 4. This facility is the first and only one of its kind in the Philippines, dedicated to equipping the youth with essential disaster preparedness skills.
The training was organized by BFP Bacoor, led by FSINSP Precious V. Petalio, in partnership with the City Government of Bacoor and Sangguniang Kabataan of Molino 4. Participants included students from Likha Elementary School and City of Bacoor National High School – Georgetown, who engaged in seminars and hands-on drills covering fire safety, emergency evacuation, earthquake response, and basic firefighting.
Mayor Strike, along with SK Federation President Hon. Palm Angel Buncio, SK Kagawad of Molino 4, and Barangay Chairman Kap Jeff Campaña, emphasized the importance of youth empowerment in building a resilient community. In his speech, Mayor Strike encouraged the youth to face life’s challenges with faith and perseverance, reminding them of the city’s commitment to their education and well-being.
The event showcased Bacoor’s proactive approach to disaster preparedness, fostering a culture of safety and responsibility among its young citizens.
