Bacoor City, August 5, 2025 — The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla and spearheaded by Ms. Rhowena D. Alcantara, Head of the City Planning and Development Coordinating Office (CPDC), commenced a three-day workshop for the formulation of the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) for 2026-2031. The event is being held at the Revilla Hall from August 5 to 7, 2025.
Key participants include Mayor Strike B. Revilla, the Sangguniang Panlungsod led by Vice Mayor Rowena B. Mendiola, Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) Vice President Randy Francisco, Ms. Memviluz Baurile from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Ms. Abe Gail Beltran, Local Government Operations Officer VI, and various department and unit heads led by Atty. Aimee Torrefrangco-Neri. Representatives from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Philippine National Police (PNP) also took part.
Mayor Strike emphasized the importance of utilizing existing data on Bacoor residents as a valuable asset to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and speed of local government services. Plans include establishing the Revilla Action Center, envisioned as a centralized hub for national, city, and potentially provincial government services to streamline public access.
The development plan aims to improve Bacoor’s health system, expand financial assistance programs, and continuously enhance public education through strengthened scholarship initiatives and incentives for outstanding youth. Additionally, the plan seeks to bolster security by coordinating with homeowners’ associations along solidarity routes to ensure community safety.
