Busan, South Korea — Today, July 16, 2025, Mayor Strike B. Revilla of Bacoor City, accompanied by Atty. Kim Nyca Lofrangco, head of the Office of the City Legal Services, paid a courtesy visit to Busan Metropolitan City. The visit was organized by the Busan Metropolitan City Government and included a meeting with Mayor Park Heong-joon and other Busan city officials.
The main agenda of the visit was to discuss the proposed sisterhood partnership between the City Government of Bacoor and the Busan Metropolitan City Government. During the meeting, Mayor Park Heong-joon proudly presented the Busan Metropolitan City Disaster and Safety Control Center Operation Status, showcasing the city’s advanced command center and its disaster management capabilities.
Both cities also explored opportunities for further collaboration beyond the sisterhood agreement, aiming to strengthen ties in governance, disaster preparedness, and other areas of mutual interest.
The visit highlights the commitment of both Bacoor and Busan to foster cooperation and share best practices for the benefit of their communities.
