Brookfield Hall, The Forum, Korea — Today July 14, 2025, the Korean Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND) hosted the 2025 K-City Network KIND Invitation Program at Brookfield Hall, The Forum (3rd Floor, Twoo IFC) in Korea. The event gathered international delegates to promote global cooperation and innovation in smart city development.
Representing Bacoor City were Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Atty. Kim Nyca Lofrangco, head of the Office of the City Legal Service, Mr. Richard Quion, head of the Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (BDRRMO), and Mr. Lodgene Asuncion, head of E-Government and Management Information Systems. Participants from KIND included Mr. Kim Bok-Kwan, KIND President and CEO, along with the Director of Investment Policy Support Department and the Urban Consulting Team. Delegations from Uzbekistan, Indonesia, and the Philippines—specifically Bacoor City’s Smart City Master Plan team under the RMS Platform Consortium—also joined the program.
The event featured welcome remarks and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation under the K-City Network Global Cooperation Program between KIND and the City Government of Bacoor. The MOU was signed by KIND President and CEO Mr. Kim Bok-Kwan and Mayor Strike B. Revilla. Other highlights included networking sessions, viewing of the KIND promotional video, project briefings, an introduction to the K-City Network report, and a business meeting.
Mayor Strike’s participation in the program, including the SMART City Expo, underscores Bacoor City’s commitment to leveraging innovative technologies and international partnerships to advance its vision of becoming a smart city—improving urban living, sustainability, and governance for its residents.
