Bacoor City, June 23, 2025 – A proposal for a free soft tennis clinic in Bacoor City was discussed today in a meeting organized by City Administrator Atty. Aimee Torrefranca Neri through the Sports Development Unit (SDU). The meeting brought together Mayor Strike B. Revilla, SDU head Mr. Sidney V. Solis, and representatives from the Philippine Soft Tennis Association: Asst. National Soft Tennis Coach Wenifredo De Leon Jr., and Coach Christy Sañosa, a Bacoor native and Soft Tennis Champion, were present at the meeting.
The Philippine Soft Tennis Association proposed a five-session clinic, encompassing three age categories (12-under, 14-under, and 17-under). Mayor Strike expressed strong support for the initiative, which aligns with his administration’s focus on sports development. The proposal is currently under review, and further details regarding the clinic’s implementation will be announced following a final decision.
