Bacoor City, June 23, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor today held its annual Tribute to Outstanding Admirable and Stellar Taxpayers (TOAST) Awards ceremony at the Strike Gymnasium, recognizing the significant contributions of businesses and individuals to the city’s economic growth. The event was attended by Mayor Strike Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena B. Mendiola, Congresswoman Lani M. Revilla, Councilors Rogelio Nolasco, Alex Gutierrez, and Mike Bautista, along with Ms. Katrina Sanchez (LEDIPO Head), Mr. Abraham De Castro, Ph.D (PESO Head), and Ms. Joy Barcoma, Ms. Philippine Earth 2025 representative for Bacoor. Business owners, representatives from the Bacoor Chamber of Commerce, and TOAST awardees were also in attendance.
The ceremony honored top taxpayers across various categories. In the real property tax category, the top ten companies/developers recognized were SM Prime Holdings, SP Collective Property Holding Inc., CBC Asia Realty & Development Inc., Philippine Billion Real Estate Development Corp., Vistareit Inc., GT Capital Holdings Inc., DMCI Project Developers Inc., MDC Commercial Properties Inc., Williamson Inc., and Toyota Bacoor Cavite Inc. The top five individual real property taxpayers were Flerida V. Tropel, Harrer T.V. Ongsun, Malinis Magtanggol et al, Rey Dante A. Bautista, and Jimmy T. Tang. The top ten business taxpayers of the year included SM Group of Companies, Toyota Bacoor, Cavite Inc., Fiberhome Phils Inc., Villar Group of Companies, Mercury Drug Corporation, Puregold Price Club Inc., Hard Discount Philippines Inc., Wilcon Depot Inc., Jollibee Foods Corp, and Jabez Bacoor Motor Corporation.
Special awards were also presented to Ms. Maria Cristina S. Serafico and Ric-Grey Industrial Trading (Top Online Retailer Award); SM City Bacoor and SM City Molino (Most Number of Employed Bacoorenos); Bacoor Junkshop Owners Association Inc. and Bacoor City Resort Association (Most Active Business Associations); and the Bacoor Chamber of Commerce & Industry Inc. The awards ceremony served as a testament to the vital role played by taxpayers in supporting Bacoor City’s progress and development.
