Bacoor City, June 20, 2025 – Mayor Strike B. Revilla today personally inspected the dredging work underway at Molino Dam in Barangay Molino 3. The project, under the City Engineering Office headed by Engr. Jicky Jutba, is designed to increase the dam’s water storage capacity, thus helping to lessen the impact of flooding in the community by temporarily holding excess rainwater. Representatives from the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) and Kapitan Jun Advincula with the Barangay Molino 3 council were also present. Mayor Strike expressed his desire to fully revitalize the dam and maximize its potential for the benefit of the community.
The improved dam also holds the potential for future use by Maynilad. Mayor Strike stressed his commitment to ensuring the project benefits Bacoor residents, highlighting its importance in flood mitigation and potential for broader water resource management.
