On June 1, 2025, the Philippine Consulate General in New York City held a flag ceremony at the Philippine Center as part of the annual Independence Day celebrations, with Banda El Gobernador performing a live rendition of the Philippine National Anthem as consulate employees, the Filipino community, and PIDCI proudly sing along.
