Bacoor City, April 29, 2025 – Mayor Strike B. Revilla convened a coordination meeting with representatives from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region IV-A today at the SBR Conference Room. The meeting, organized by the City Government of Bacoor through City Engineering Office representative Mr. Jicky Jutba, focused on discussing DPWH’s upcoming programs and projects in the city, particularly those related to major road infrastructure.
The DPWH delegation, led by Mr. Ian Carlo Correa, Ms. Honey Grace Vibora, Mr. Akira Kevin Nakamura, Mr. Justine Reyes, Gilhomer Hari, and Mr. Jan dell Ross Fabricante, presented their plans for the Imus-Bacoor Link, Bacoor-Dasmarinas National Road, and Alabang-Zapote Diversion Road. The meeting also included representatives from I&E Construction Corp., Mr. Jerome Jake Carvajal, Mr. Kenneth Llabres, and Mr. Eldon Plaza.
The primary objective of the meeting was to ensure proper planning and coordination between the City Government and DPWH to minimize traffic disruptions during the implementation of these crucial infrastructure projects. Mayor Revilla emphasized the importance of prioritizing the safety and convenience of Bacooreños while ensuring the efficient completion of these projects.
The meeting also addressed other matters related to the projects, including potential challenges and mitigation strategies. The coordination meeting serves as a testament to the City Government’s commitment to working collaboratively with national agencies to improve the city’s infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for its residents.
