The Sangguniang Panlungsod passed City Resolution No. 2025-668, s 2025, entitled “A resolution respectfully requesting and authorizing the City Mayor, Hon. Strike B. Revilla, to suspend classes in all levels whenever the heat index over the City of Bacoor, Cavite reaches dangerous levels.” which authorizes the City Mayor to suspend classes in all levels whenever the heat index over the City of Bacoor, Cavite exceeds 40° Celsius.
Based on this resolution and upon the recommendation of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC) in view of the forecasted extreme heat that might be experienced tomorrow, CLASSES in ALL PUBLIC COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES, are hereby SUSPENDED tomorrow Wednesday, 30 April 2025.
Further, in-person classes in all private schools, colleges, and universities is left to the discretion of their respective managements.
Furthermore, all private schools are hereby directed to adhere to the provisions of DepEd Order No. 022, s. 2024, and shift to modular distance learning, performance tasks, projects or make-up classes as appropriate to ensure that learning competencies are met.
This circular shall take effect immediately.
