Bacoor City, April 25, 2025 – Mayor Strike B. Revilla, along with Atty. Kim Nyca Lofranco (Head of the City Legal Services), Ms. Kristine Evangelista, OIC Head City Information amd Community Relation Department (CICRD), Mr. Dennis Abella and Ms. Lysa Biancaflor, met with representatives from St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) yesterday to discuss potential internship opportunities for the college’s Multimedia Arts students. The meeting, held at the Strike Conference Room, aimed to explore ways to foster collaboration between the City Government and the college.
Representatives from SDCA, Ms. Grace Demetillo, Ms. Christian Velasquez, and Ms. Hanna Mae Pesigan, showcased the talent of their students, highlighting their skills in writing, photography, editing, and hosting. The City Government expressed interest in providing internship opportunities for these students, starting in the first week of May.
The internship program would provide a valuable learning experience for the SDCA students, allowing them to apply their skills in a real-world setting. It would also be beneficial for the City Government, providing access to a pool of talented and motivated individuals. The proximity of SDCA to the City Government of Bacoor would further enhance the program, minimizing transportation costs for the interns.
The meeting concluded with a positive outlook for the internship program, paving the way for a mutually beneficial partnership between the City Government of Bacoor and St. Dominic College of Asia.
