Bacoor City, April 26, 2025 – Mayor Strike B. Revilla, along with City Administrator Atty. Aimee Torrefrangca-Neri, welcomed Bacoor’s very own soft tennis champion, Ms. Christy Sañosa, in a courtesy visit at the Office of the Mayor yesterday. The visit served as an opportunity to honor Sañosa’s achievements and to show support for her upcoming international competitions.
Ms. Sañosa, a proud Bacooreño, has consistently brought honor to the city and the country through her impressive performances in international soft tennis tournaments. Her list of accolades includes:
– 2022: Korea (Silver Medalist, Women’s Team), Indonesia (Bronze, Single Event)
– 2023: Korea (2 Gold – Women’s Single Challenge Round and Single Event, 1 Silver – Women’s Double), Thailand (1 Gold – Women’s Team, 1 Silver – Women’s Double), Cambodia Southeast Asian Games (Gold Medalist – Women’s Team Event)
– 2024: ISTF World Tour Soft Tennis Championship (Gold – Women’s Team Event, Silver – Women’s Double, Bronze – Mixed Double)
In her upcoming competitions, Ms. Sañosa will proudly carry the Philippine flag. Mayor Strike B. Revilla expressed the City Government’s full support for her endeavors and requested her assistance in promoting and strengthening sports within the city.
