Bacoor City, March 14, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, through the E-Gov Department and Management Information Service (MIS) led by Mr. Lodgene Asuncion, today held a meeting with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) at the Strike Conference Room. The meeting focused on the establishment of a Digital Transportation Center in Bacoor and explored potential collaborations between the City Government and DICT.
The meeting was attended by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Engr. Arthur San Jose (head of the Zoning and Land Development Department), Atty. Kim Nyca Lofrangco (head of the Office of the City Legal Service), and DICT personnel led by Mr. Felix S. Tabanao Jr., Director IV and Regional Director for Region 4A.
Discussions centered around the City Government’s donation of office space to DICT and the potential donation of a lot for the construction of a DICT building in Bacoor. This move aims to bring DICT services closer to the Bacoor community, including ICT training and services.
The meeting highlighted the commitment of both the City Government of Bacoor and DICT to enhancing digital services for the benefit of the community. This collaboration promises to bring significant improvements in ICT infrastructure and services, ultimately contributing to the city’s overall development.
