Bacoor City, March 7, 2025 – Mayor Strike B. Revilla held a meeting with all 47 Barangay Captains and Secretaries at the Revilla Hall today, focusing on strengthening peace and order, environmental programs, and fostering collaboration between the City Government and barangay officials.
The meeting was attended by Mayor Revilla, Coun. Karen Sarino Evaristo, and ABC Vice President Randy Francisco. The discussion centered on creating an Eco Environmental Police force, utilizing Barangay Tanods deputized by the City Government to enforce anti-littering and illegal obstruction laws.
The meeting also addressed waste segregation initiatives led by the City Environment Service Department (CESD), highlighting the importance of community participation in environmental protection. Mayor Revilla emphasized the crucial role of barangay officials in promoting peace and order within their respective communities, encouraging collaboration with the City Government to ensure the safety and well-being of BacooreƱo residents.
The City Government’s plan to install “Strike Gates” at strategic locations within each barangay was also discussed. These gates will serve as a security measure, controlling access and exit points to enhance the safety of residents.
The meeting served as a platform for open dialogue and collaboration between the City Government and barangay officials, reinforcing the commitment to working together to address key issues facing the city, including environmental protection, peace and order, and community safety.
