Bacoor City, February 27, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, through the City Planning & Development Coordinating Office (CPDC), held a meeting with representatives from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) yesterday to discuss collaboration on infrastructure projects in the city.
The meeting, held at the SBR Conference Room, was led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla and included Ms. Rhowena Alcantara, head of CPDC, Arch. Maricon De Castro, OIC City Engineering Office, and Engr. Jicky Jutba, City Engineering Office. The DPWH delegation was composed of Mr. Donnie D. Cuna, Mr. Reimart Regin P. Bautista, Ms. Abigail Anselmo, and Mr. Jessito M. Baguio Jr.
The meeting focused on the DPWH’s infrastructure program for Fiscal Year 2025, as outlined in Republic Act No. 12116 – FY General Appropriations. Discussions centered on potential collaborations between the City Government of Bacoor and DPWH on projects within the 2nd Legislative District of Cavite, specifically within Bacoor City. The meeting explored ways in which the City Government could assist and provide suggestions to the DPWH for the effective implementation of these projects.
The meeting highlights the City Government’s commitment to working with national agencies like the DPWH to ensure the development and improvement of infrastructure within Bacoor City. This collaboration aims to enhance the quality of life for residents and promote sustainable growth within the community.
