Bacoor City, February 26, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, in partnership with the Cavite State University (CvSU) Bacoor Campus, hosted a Career Kickstart 2025 Pre-Employment Seminar at the CvSU Bacoor Campus Gymnasium. The event, organized by PESO Bacoor, the CvSU OJT/Job Placement Unit, and the CvSU Alumni Association Inc., aimed to prepare graduating students for the job market and equip them with essential skills for successful job applications and interviews.
The seminar featured inspiring messages from Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Congresswoman Lani Mercado Revilla, highlighting the City Government’s commitment to supporting the youth and their career aspirations. PESO Bacoor personnel, led by Dr. Abraham “BOB” De Castro, PESO Head, and Kap Ronald Javier of Barangay Molino 6, also expressed their support for the initiative.
CvSU representatives, including Mr. Niño M. Rodil, Alumni President, Ms. Menvyluz S. Macalalad, MBA, Campus Administrator, and Mr. Lloyd John P. Cordero, MBA, delivered insightful talks on topics such as “Your First Impression” and “Ace the Interview.” Prof. Jenielyn E. Nunez, CPA, MBA, JD, CHRA, provided valuable guidance on “Developing Your Personal Identity for Career Growth.” Mr. Stephen Bacolor served as the master of ceremonies.
The seminar went beyond theoretical knowledge, offering practical application. Several companies were present, providing on-the-spot interview opportunities for students. The City Government of Bacoor, through PESO Bacoor, played a crucial role in facilitating these connections, ensuring that the seminar translated into tangible job prospects for the graduating students.
The event served as a crucial step in empowering graduating students to confidently navigate the job market and achieve their career goals.
