Bacoor City, February 19, 2025 – The Southern Tagalog Regional Hospital (STRH) marked its 6th founding anniversary today with a series of events that highlighted its commitment to providing quality healthcare services to the community. The festivities, held at the STRH in Barangay Habay 2, Bacoor City, included the blessing of new facilities, a blood donation drive, an oathtaking ceremony for new employees, a wellness sports fest, a “STRH Got Talent” competition, and an employee recognition night.
The event was graced by the presence of Ms. Khei Javier Sanchez, representing Mayor Strike B. Revilla, as well as key officials from the Department of Health (DOH) and the provincial government. Assistant Secretary of Health/Regional Director DOH-CHD IV-A Ariel Valencia MD, MPH, CESO III, and Provincial Health Officer Nelson Soriano MD were among the distinguished guests. The STRH Medical Center Chief, Ruby Ephraim M. Rubiano, MD, MMHoA, led the hospital’s officials and personnel in celebrating this milestone.
The highlight of the day was the blessing of the newly constructed Dialysis Center, DR-NICU Complex, Pharmacy, and Bacteriology Section. These new facilities represent a significant investment in the hospital’s infrastructure and will enhance the quality of care provided to patients. The blood donation drive, oathtaking ceremony, sports fest, and talent competition provided opportunities for staff and community members to engage in activities that promote health, wellness, and camaraderie. The employee recognition night honored the dedication and hard work of STRH personnel.
The 6th founding anniversary celebration was a testament to the STRH’s commitment to providing excellent healthcare services to the people of Bacoor City and the surrounding communities.
