Bacoor City, February 15, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP-Bacoor) and the Christian Values School Foundation Inc. (CVSFI), today held a fun run and Zumba event dubbed “Strike Fire Safe Nation.” The event, which started at 4:00 AM at the Bacoor Government Center Ground, aimed to promote fire safety awareness and encourage a healthy lifestyle among the community.
The event was led by BFP Bacoor personnel, headed by FSInsp Precious V. Petalio, and representatives from CVSFI, including Rev. Dominic Modesto, CVSFI Chaplain, and Mrs. Marisa Mundo, School Head. The BFP Zumba Team, together with CVSFI AGITATO, energized participants with a lively Zumba session.
More than 400 participants, including grade school, junior, and senior high school students, parents, teachers, other stakeholders/partners, and BFP-Bacoor personnel, joined the fun run and Zumba activities. The event featured a 3-kilometer run and a Zumba session, promoting physical activity and fostering a sense of community.
The “Strike Fire Safe Nation” event is a testament to the City Government’s commitment to promoting fire safety awareness and encouraging a healthy lifestyle among its residents. Through this event, the City Government aims to empower the community with the knowledge and skills needed to prevent fire incidents and ensure the safety of everyone.
