Bacoor City, February 12, 2025 – Mayor Strike B. Revilla today administered the oath of office to the newly elected officers of the Mechatronics and Robotics Society of the Philippines (MRSP), headed by President Engr. Jasper Meynard Araña, at the Strike Multi-Purpose Hall. The event was organized by the Office of the Mayor, with E-Gov/MIS Head Mr. Lodgene Asuncion also in attendance.
Following the oath-taking ceremony, a short dialogue took place where MRSP officers highlighted their commitment to providing online and face-to-face training programs and expressed their willingness to assist the City Government in areas such as technology, occupational safety, and environmental awareness for Bacooreños.
Mayor Revilla, in turn, outlined his vision for Bacoor City, emphasizing his goal of transforming it into a Smart City. He discussed various ongoing projects and future plans, emphasizing the importance of technological advancements and partnerships in achieving this vision.
The meeting focused on exploring ways for the MRSP to collaborate with the Bacoor City Government, particularly in updating the City’s Management Information System and E-Governance System. This partnership aims to leverage the expertise of the MRSP to enhance the City’s technological infrastructure and improve service delivery to its constituents.
The collaboration between the City Government and the MRSP signifies a commitment to embracing technological advancements and utilizing them to create a more efficient, sustainable, and citizen-centric city.
