Bacoor City, February 10, 2025 – The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) today paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Strike B. Revilla at the Office of the Mayor. The visit was led by Capt. Charity G. Copiaco, Station Commander of Coast Guard Station Cavite, Province of Cavite, and included other PCG personnel.
The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the City Government of Bacoor and the PCG, particularly in disaster preparedness and response, as well as exploring ways to enhance community safety and security. Mayor Revilla and Capt. Copiaco discussed the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Agreement ( MOA ) to formalize their partnership and establish a PCG presence in Bacoor.
This collaboration aims to enhance the City’s capacity to respond effectively to emergencies, particularly those related to maritime incidents and natural disasters. The City Government of Bacoor is committed to working closely with the PCG to ensure the safety and well-being of its constituents.
