City Government of Bacoor hosted a courtesy visit from PNP Maritime Chief to discuss Coastal Maritime Law and Fishermen’s Welfare

Bacoor City, February 10, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, through the Office of the City Agriculture Office Services led by Mr. Allan Chua, today hosted a courtesy visit from Police Colonel Regional Chief Rajo M. Opelanio, head of the Regional Maritime Unit 4A, and Major Arnold Penales, PNP Maritime.

The visit, held at the Strike Conference Room, was attended by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, City Administrator Atty. Aimee Neri, and Mr. Noly Galvez, Assistant Head of BDRRMO. The purpose of the visit was to discuss rules and regulations regarding Coastal Maritime Law and explore ways to assist Bacooreño fishermen.

The meeting aimed to foster collaboration between the City Government and the PNP Maritime Unit to ensure the safety and well-being of Bacooreño fishermen while upholding the law. The City Government of Bacoor remains committed to supporting its fishing community and promoting sustainable fishing practices.
