Bacoor City, February 4, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, through the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) headed by Atty. Venus De Castro and the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) headed by Mrs. Emiliana Ugalde, distributed financial aid to over 1,900 senior citizens from Barangays San Nicolas 2 and Bayanan this morning at the Strike Gymnasium.
The event was graced by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena B. Mendiola, Ex Kap Horacio Brilliantes, Kuya Noly Galvez, and Pastor Mike Bautista. Senior citizen presidents and barangay officials from both barangays were also present.
The “Kalinga sa Matanda” program provided much-needed financial assistance to senior citizens, serving as an additional source of support for their daily expenses. A total of 925 senior citizens from San Nicolas 2 and 993 from Bayanan received financial assistance, demonstrating the City Government’s commitment to supporting the well-being of its elderly residents. The event was a heartwarming display of compassion and care, bringing smiles and relief to the senior citizens of Bacoor. The City Government continues to prioritize the well-being of its senior citizens, ensuring their needs are met and their contributions to the community are recognized and appreciated.
