Bacoor City, February 4, 2025 – Mayor Strike B. Revilla received a courtesy visit from marine officials today at the Strike Conference Room. The visit aimed to discuss the implementation of maritime law within Bacoor City’s jurisdiction, with a focus on benefiting local fishermen.
The delegation included PLtCol. Vicente Cabatingan, PRO4A, PMAJ Marlo Gabato, Acting Commander of the 3rd Special Operations Unit Maritime Group – Paranaque, and Finite Element Method (FEMS) Gatalino Barrantes, also from Paranaque. PLtCol John Paolo Carracedo, Chief of the Bacoor PNP, was also present.
The courtesy visit provided a platform for open dialogue and collaboration between the City Government and marine officials, focusing on strengthening efforts to enforce maritime law within Bacoor’s jurisdiction. This collaboration underscores the commitment of both parties to ensuring the safety and security of the city’s waterways and coastal areas, while also supporting the livelihoods of Bacoor’s fishermen.
