Bacoor City, February 3, 2025 – The Bacoor City Transformation Office (BCTO) hosted a meaningful flag raising ceremony this morning at the Strike Gymnasium, bringing together city employees, government officials, and community members to celebrate patriotism and recognize outstanding Bacooreño students.
The ceremony began with an opening prayer led by Pastor Cezar Roxas of the City Transportation Office. The entrance of the color guard, composed of PNP Bacoor personnel, was followed by the rendition of the Philippine National Anthem by the Bacoor Unity Band. Pastor Sam Baldon led the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas, followed by the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan by Pastor Enrico Mendoza and the Panata sa Bagong Pilipinas by Pastor Jayson Humarang. Pastora Ana Roxas presented the Quality Policy Statement, and the Divine Light Academy Alumni Association Choir performed “Bagong Pilipinas,” the Cavite Hymn, and the Bacoor Hymn.
City Councilor of Bacoor – District 2, Hon. Rey Palabrica, delivered the opening remarks. The ceremony then proceeded to the highlight of the event: the awarding of certificates of recognition to eleven outstanding Bacooreño students who graduated with honors from various universities.
The awardees included:

– Ms. Ma. Isabel A. Pabatang (Barangay Molino 3) – Cum Laude, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Technological University of The Philippines – Manila
– Mr. Luigie R. Pamaran (Barangay Talaba 2) – Cum Laude, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Cavite State University – Imus Campus, Passer of Certified Human Resources Associate (CHRA) Examination
– Ms. Eunice Jane Rosal (Barangay Mabolo) – Cum Laude, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Cavite State University – Imus Campus
– Ms. Patricia Joyce S. Sentorias (Barangay Molino 1) – Magna Cum Laude, Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship, TUP – Manila
– Ms Kaye Angelli V. Salve (Barangay P.F. Espiritu 4) – Magna Cum Laude, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
– Ms. Ma. Janina V. Ibarra (Barangay Poblacion) – Magna Cum Laude, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Cavite State University – Imus Campus, Passer CHRA Examination
– Mr. Rhose Ton R. Ignacio (Barangay Habay 1) – Magna Cum Laude, Bachelor of Elementary Education, Cavite State University – Imus Campus
– Mr John Paul D. Bejasa (Barangay Talaba 2) – Magna Cum Laude, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Cavite State University – Bacoor Campus
– Mr. John Michael C. Villarey (Barangay Ligas 1) – Magna Cum Laude, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Adamson University
– Atty. Maria Lovelyn Joyce S. Qubrar, a Bacooreña who achieved Cum Laude with her Juris Doctor Degree from the UP – College of Law, also placed in the top 6 in the 2024 Philippine Bar Examination.
Pastor Phil Depatillo presented the Accomplishment Report of the Bacoor City Transformation Office. Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to the Bible League of The Philippines, followed by a Bible distribution.
Atty. Cela Agpaoa, Board Secretary of the Bible League Philippines, delivered a special message. Mayor Strike B. Revilla concluded the ceremony with a special message and a weekly accomplishment report, highlighting the City Government’s continued progress in various areas. The event was a testament to the City Government’s commitment to education, community development, and the overall well-being of the people of Bacoor.
