The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, continued its “Kalinga sa Matanda” program this afternoon, bringing financial assistance to senior citizens from Barangays Talaba 1, 2, and Niog at the Strike Gymnasium.
The event was marked by video messages from Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, and Congresswoman Lani Mercado Revilla, expressing their heartfelt support for the program. Ms. Khei Sanchez, spokesperson for Mayor Strike B. Revilla, was personally present at the event, along with Kuya Noly Galvez, Pastor Mike Bautista, and barangay officials from the three participating barangays.
A total of 580 senior citizens from Barangay Talaba 1, 491 from Barangay Talaba 2, and 1,230 from Barangay Niog received financial aid, demonstrating the Bacoor LGU’s commitment to supporting its senior citizens. The financial assistance was made possible through the support of Team Revilla, led by Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., Cong. Bryan Revilla of the Agimat Partylist, and BM Ram Revilla Bautista.
The “Kalinga sa Matanda” program highlights the City Government’s dedication to ensuring the well-being of its senior citizens. The afternoon distribution event was a resounding success, bringing smiles and much-needed assistance to the elderly residents of Barangays Talaba 1, 2, and Niog.
