Bacoor City, January 30, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, in partnership with the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) and the Provincial Government of Cavite, held a special ceremony today to honor three nonagenarians and one centenarian with cash incentives.
The event recognized the contributions and resilience of senior citizens in the community. The three nonagenarians honored were Mrs. Margarita Batisla-Ong Quian (91 years old) from Paula Homes, Barangay Molino 1; Mrs. Petronila M. Ramos (94 years old) from Progressive, Barangay Molino 2; and Mrs. Margarita Andaya Cornejo (91 years old) from Kaunlaran, Barangay Molino 2. Each nonagenarian received a cash incentive as a token of appreciation for their years of service and dedication to the community.
The centenarian honored was Mrs. Rosario Agapito (100 years old) from Barangay Molino 3. Mrs. Agapito received a special cash incentive of ₱50,000, provided by the Provincial Government of Cavite, in recognition of her remarkable milestone.
The awarding ceremony highlighted the City Government’s commitment to supporting and honoring its senior citizens, recognizing their invaluable contributions to the community’s history and development. The event served as a testament to the respect and care that Bacoor City holds for its elderly residents.
