Bacoor City, January 23, 2025 – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Region 4A paid a courtesy visit to the office of Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola yesterday to discuss the implementation and monitoring of the Emergency Cash Transfer program for fire victims in Bacoor City.
The visit aimed to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of financial assistance to 66 families affected by recent fires in Barangays Zapote 3 and Talaba 2. Vice Mayor Mendiola, a strong advocate for the welfare of Bacoor residents, welcomed the DSWD representatives and expressed her commitment to working closely with the agency to ensure the timely and appropriate distribution of aid to the affected families.
The meeting underscored the City Government’s dedication to collaborating with national agencies to provide immediate relief and support to those in need. The Emergency Cash Transfer program is a vital initiative that provides financial assistance to individuals and families affected by natural disasters and other emergencies, enabling them to recover and rebuild their lives.
