Bacoor City, December 11, 2024 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, today held a special “Kalinga sa Matanda” event, providing financial support to senior citizens residing in Barangays Panapaan 4, 5 and Habay 2. The event, organized by the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) and the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) headed by Ms. Lilian Ugalde, was held at the Strike Gymnasium. It saw the participation of Sangguniang Panglungsod members, Team Revilla, Atty. Venus De Castro, OSCA head, Ms. Nenita Reyes, Bacoor Senior Citizens Federation President, and Barangay Officials.
The beneficiaries received financial assistance as a gesture of appreciation and support from the City Government. The “Kalinga sa Matanda” initiative is a testament to the City Government’s commitment to the well-being of its senior citizens, ensuring that they are provided with the necessary resources and support.
The event also highlighted the collaborative efforts of the City Government with Senator Ramon “BONG” Revilla Jr., Congwoman Lani Mercado Revilla, Cong. Bryan Revilla of Agimat Partylist, and Board Member Ram Revilla, in supporting the senior citizens of Bacoor.
