Bacoor City, December 3, 2024 – The City Government of Bacoor, under the leadership of Mayor Strike B. Revilla, convened the 4th quarter joint meeting of the City Peace and Order Council (CPOC) and City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) at the Strike Multipurpose Hall. The meeting was attended by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, City Local Government Operations Officer (CLGOO) Reginaldo Revilla, members of the CPOC, and members of the CADAC.
The CPOC focused on the current peace and order situation in the city, reviewing the 4th quarter accomplishment reports of the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), including updates on the female and male dormitories. The meeting provided a platform for open discussion and collaboration among law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety and security of the city’s residents.
Meanwhile, the CADAC discussed the 4th quarter accomplishment report of the Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP), provided updates on the drug clearing program, and addressed other relevant matters. The council members engaged in a comprehensive review of ongoing drug prevention and rehabilitation efforts, aiming to strengthen strategies and address emerging challenges.
The joint meeting served as a crucial platform for collaborative efforts to maintain peace and order, combat illegal drugs, and ensure the safety and well-being of the citizens of Bacoor. The meeting highlighted the city’s commitment to a multi-faceted approach to security and public safety, fostering a collaborative environment among relevant agencies and organizations.
