Bacoor City, December 2, 2024 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, held a meaningful Flag Raising Ceremony at the Strike Gymnasium today, commemorating National Flag Day. The event, hosted by the City Administrator’s Office and partnered with the NGO, BLS (Bravery, Love, and Service), was a testament to the city’s commitment to national unity, service, and progress.
The ceremony began with an opening prayer by the City Transportation Office, followed by a captivating entrance of colors by BFP Bacoor personnel. The Philippine National Anthem was beautifully rendered by the CAVSU Bacoor Choir and Bacoor Unity Band, inspiring a sense of patriotism among the attendees.
Various city officials, department heads, and representatives from different organizations, including DILG, PNP, BFP, BJMP, BTMD, DepEd Bacoor, OSCA, PWD, and various NGOs, joined in the ceremony. The event highlighted the city’s achievements, recognizing Kiara Ellis C. Malawig, a Magna Cum Laude graduate from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, and acknowledging the City of Bacoor’s prestigious award from DHSUD Region IVA for its outstanding partnership with homeowners associations in CALABARZON.
The ceremony concluded with a powerful message from Mayor Strike B. Revilla, reinforcing the importance of unity, service, and continuous progress for the city. The event served as a powerful reminder of the values that bind the Bacoor community together and inspire them to strive for a brighter future.
