Bacoor City, November 26, 2024 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, hosted a special “Strike sa Karunungan” event today at the Strike Gymnasium. The event, organized by the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) headed by Ms. Lilian Ugalde, saw the distribution of scholarship assistance to 855 private students and the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement ( MOA ) with participating educational institutions.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla, alongside former Kap Horacio Brilliantes, Pastor Mike Bautista, Mr. Noly Galvez, BTMD Head Leslie Morales, Kap BJ Aganus (Real), and SK President Palm Angel Buncio, graced the occasion. Representatives from various private schools, including UPHSD, Asian Institute of Computer Studies, St. Francis of Assisi College, Gods Grace Christian School, APEC School, ISHRM System, The Bearer of Light and Wisdom College, St. Peregrine Institute, Rochepol Jane Academy, La Camille School, St. Dominic College of Asia, and La Vlaize Integrated Science, were present to receive the scholarship agreements.
The “Strike sa Karunungan” program aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students from low-income families, enabling them to pursue their education despite financial constraints. The event also highlighted the city’s commitment to accessible and quality education for all Bacooreños. The signing of the MOA signifies a collaborative effort between the city government and private educational institutions to empower students and ensure a brighter future for the community.
