Bacoor City, November 25, 2024 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, officially launched the “Strike Festival” program and illuminated the city’s Christmas tree at the Bacoor Government Center Ground, marking the start of the festive season.
The event, organized by the Department of Tourist and Cultural Affairs, headed by Mr. Edwin Guinto, brought together a diverse crowd, including city officials, employees, NGOs, and the community, including parents and guardians of 750 daycare children. Barangay officials and Miss Tourism also joined the festivities, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
The launch featured a series of exciting activities, including the announcement of the “Strike Scholarship” program for 750 daycare children, the ceremonial opening of the Christmas Bazaar, a vibrant lantern parade, and the highly anticipated Christmas tree lighting.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla, alongside Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, Cong. Lani Mercado Revilla, Cong. Bryan Revilla of the Agimat Partylist, BM Ram Revilla, BM Edwin Malvar, BM Rafael Paterno, and other Sangguniang Panglungsod members, Team Revilla led the festivities, signifying the City’s commitment to creating a joyous and memorable holiday season for its residents.
The “Strike Festival” program promises a month-long celebration filled with cultural events, entertainment, and community activities, culminating in a grand New Year’s Eve celebration. The event served as a reminder of the City’s dedication to fostering a sense of unity and community spirit, while also providing opportunities for families to celebrate the season together.
