Bacoor City, October 14, 2024 – The City of Bacoor today launched its School-Based Immunization Program, a crucial initiative aimed at protecting the health and well-being of school children.
The ceremonial launching, held at the Strike Gymnasium, was organized by the Office of the City Health Services, led by Dra. Ivy Marie Yrastorza, in partnership with the Department of Education (Bacoor).
The event was graced by Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, Sangguniang Panglungsod Members, Team Revilla, and Dra. Babylyn Pambid, Bacoor School Division Superintendent.
The program aims to ensure that all students in Grades 1 and 7 (both male and female) receive the Measles Rubella and Diphtheria Tetanus vaccine, while Grade 4 female students will receive the HPV vaccine.
This comprehensive immunization program reflects the City Government’s commitment to safeguarding the health of Bacoor’s youth and promoting a healthier future for the community.
