Bacoor City, October 9, 2024 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, today held a heartwarming distribution event for assistive devices and essential medicines, demonstrating its commitment to empowering the lives of its constituents. The event was a collaborative effort with the Department of Health (DOH) and the Office of Senator Francis Tolentino.
The event saw the distribution of wheelchairs for 7 adults and 7 children, prescription glasses, dentures, and free medicines for 250 beneficiaries. The distribution was held at Revilla Hall, a venue that witnessed the collective effort of the community coming together to alleviate hardship.
Senator Francis Tolentino was represented by his son, Councilor Michael “Micko” Tolentino, and Coun. Patrick Aldrei Tolentino. Vice Mayor Rowena B. Mendiola, District 1 & 2 City Councilors, and District 1 representatives from Team Revilla including Kuya Noly Galvez, Kap Erick Ugalde, Pastor Mike Bautista, and Kap Odoy Brillantes, were also present at the event. The distribution was spearheaded by Dr. Ivy Marie Yrastorza, Head of the Office of City Health Services (OCHS).
This initiative showcases the commitment of the Bacoor City Government in partnership with the Office of Senator Francis “Tol” Tolentino, to improving the quality of life for its citizens, providing essential services and support for those who need it most, and fostering a spirit of unity and compassion.
